Lolland: Denmark's southernmost island
They say that standing on a beer crate you can see the whole of Lolland-Falster. In fact, the Danish double island has very few hills and is ideal for cycling. Tamina Kallert always rides along the water: around the Maribo lakes, on the country's longest dyke cycle path and along the Guldborg Sound.
Nakskov Fjord
This Natura 2000 area is an adventure in itself. For example, the long curved headland Albuen, which during high tide can only be reached by boat, where you will find houses and a former school. Among the many islands in Nakskov Fjord is Enehøje, where world-famous adventurer Peter Freuchen lived.

Nakskov is the largest city on Lolland and the center of cultural activities in the surrounding area, including theatre, concerts, festivals, sports activities and many other exciting events. In the town you will find a number of shopping opportunities and supermarkets. At Campus Nakskov, around 1,000 young people have their daily routine across a number of different upper secondary and vocational education programs.
