Private school

Close to the station and the city center is the Private School, which in 2015 had a new area built with a schoolyard, playground and football fields.

Steno School

At the beginning of the 20th century, there was pressure on the production of beets and sugar on Lolland, which meant that over 12,000 Polish women worked on Lolland. Many have settled and Lolland still has a strong Polish connection today. It also makes sense that the Catholic private school Stenoskolen was established in 1920, which is now also open to non-Catholic students.
