Indrefjord
A short distance from the pedestrian zone and the city center, you will find the inner fjord, where water from Halsted Å and Ryde Å finds its way out through the harbor to the fjord, through the lock under Nybro. The inner fjord is a beautiful nature area with a rich bird life and cozy little paths where you can walk all the way to Lienlund park. There are 2 playgrounds in the area, one close to Nybro and one further into the middle of the area.
Svingelen
The city's oldest and largest park area, established as a pleasure forest for the bourgeoisie and well-to-do in Nakskov in 1550. In the area you will find Hotel and Restaurant Skovriddergården. In addition to a lake and pleasant paths through the forest and park, there is also a playground,
The wilderness forest
A newly established afforestation project in the northern part of Nakskov, planted in 2009. There is also a good nature playground, picnic area and many fruit trees. The wilderness forest is named by the children from the Blæksprutten kindergarten.

Theisen's yard
Between Axeltorv and Havnegade, behind Det Gamle Apotek, you'll find the listed farm complex with several beautiful half-timbered buildings and warehouses.
Krogsbølleskoven
At Apotekervej in Nakskov you will find this newly established reforestation area from 2009. In addition to paths and a park area with benches, there is also an exercise track and a dog park.
The brickworks forest
Large nature area with many lakes created as clay pits at the former Helgenæs Brickworks, which closed in 1980 and has since been used as a nature school. Many exciting trails to explore.
Krukholm forest
Along the ring trail, where it follows Halsted Å, you'll find Krukholmskoven, a newly established reforestation area. In addition to pleasant trails, there is also a campsite with a shelter and a close trail connection to Lienlund park.
Lienlund
One of the city's beautiful parks, which is also used for concerts. Surrounding the park is a cozy forest with paths to Krukholmskoven and the Indrefjord.
Lake houses
In 2015, an older residential area in Nakskov was converted into new apartment buildings. In connection with the area, a park with a natural playground has been established. The ring path runs through the park area.
Hestehovedet
At Hestehovedet you'll find the new beach square, a sunshine staircase on the hill and the new playground with the cute seals. It's also home to Denmark's most photographed bathing bridge - and the beach with some of the highest bathing water temperatures in Denmark.
