At Hestehovedet in Nakskov is the Kitesurf & Paddle water sports center where you can try various water sports from kitesurfing and stand-up paddling to kayaking. Depending on the sport, they offer courses for both beginners and advanced, equipment rental and guided tours.

Sports center
Nakskov Sports Center consists of 2 sports halls and a swimming pool and is located in close proximity to football fields, tennis courts and courts. The sports center also includes a gymnasium, a center for apparatus gymnastics, rooms for boxing, wrestling and karate, and a strength training center.
Swimming pool
In 2014, Nakskov got a new 2,000 m2 swimming pool with, among other things, a climbing wall, a slide, a warm water pool and a paddling pool for the little ones. Here you will also find Nakskov Swimming Club .

Peter Freuchen Company
Peter Freuchen was a world-renowned Danish journalist, author and explorer who, together with Knud Rasmussen, established the Thule research station in 1910. He lived for a number of years at Enehøje in Nakskov Fjord. The association's purpose is to improve knowledge of Peter Freuchen and knowledge of Greenland and Arctic research. Among other things, the association holds lectures.
Nakskov Motorcross Club
Just south of Nakskov is a motocross track where the Nakskov Motorcross Club races.
Halsted Monastery Golf Club
The golf course was built in 1995 in a scenic area belonging to Halsted Monastery, and almost every step you take is on historical ground. Numerous finds from the Stone Age and Bronze Age show that the area has been inhabited since the Ice Age shaped the landscape. Today, the golf course is built partly on the old seabed, partly on the old hilly coastline.
Nakskov Shooting Association
In Nakskov you will also find a shooting range , where you can try your hand at both pistols and rifles and see if you can hit the target.
